ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Customer Service Representative with Matthew Kendig State Farm, you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance business. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you an ideal fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agent team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support.

WORK SCHEDULE
This position begins with an in-office work schedule. Employees are expected to work in the office during their scheduled hours.

  • Monday–Thursday 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Office Holidays Our office observes 15 holiday closures annually. Part-time employees receive 6 paid holidays.
  • Hybrid Work Hybrid work arrangements may be considered after six months of employment, based on business needs, job performance, and Agent approval. Hybrid work is not guaranteed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Answer customer inquiries and requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Must be or get Property & Casualty, Life, and Health Hawaii Insurance Licenses.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Dedicated to customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
PAID TRAINING
We believe in investing in our team through professional development and continuous learning. Hawaii Property & Casualty, Life, and Health insurance licenses are required for this position. If you're not currently licensed, don't worry! We provide the training and support to help you get started.

  • Licensing Training Comprehensive training program to help you prepare for your insurance licensing exams.
  • 18-Day Live Training Program Begin your employment with an 18-day training program featuring expert guidance and mentorship. During this program, you will train remotely from home from 6:00 AM to 11:15 AM.
  • Licensing Fee Reimbursement Reimbursement for initial licensing exam fees. Employees are responsible for ongoing licensing fees, renewals, and continuing education requirements.
  • Ongoing Daily Training Continued coaching, support, and professional development to help you grow and succeed in your role.

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation $18.00 - $18.00 per hour
